Initially the company started with the manufacturing of metal containers for the packaging industries, serving as the leading supplier for Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd.

In the early 2000s, RCIL expanded with a new project at BSCIC Industrial Estate, Kalurghat, Chittagong
