Our Visionary Leader

Our business was started and led by the hands of a visionary leader whose aspirations bring forth the best in people to come together and become social innovators and change agents of the country. With a view to providing avenues of opportunities for income-generating activities for the unemployed and turning a multidimensional market force into a causative factor towards alleviation of poverty in Bangladesh, Mr. A.K.M Enayet Ullah – a visionary, philanthropist, and businessperson from Bangladesh developed the business activities in 1994.

Company Establishment

Reliance Can Industries (PVT.) Ltd. (RCIL) was established in 1994 in Chittagong, a renowned land of gracious hospitality and spiritual significance. Initially, RCIL started with manufacturing metal containers for the packaging industry, primarily supplying Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd.

Product Expansion & Market Reach

RCIL's products have gained widespread customer trust and have become a well-known brand. Over the years, the company expanded its product range to include: Plastic containers Pails Bottles Lids Caps Corks

Expansion & Future Plans

At the beginning of the new millennium, RCIL launched another project opposite its existing site at BSCIC Industrial Estate, Kalurghat, Chittagong. The facility has a planned capacity of up to 10 levels, with construction currently completed up to the 8th level. RCIL has installed advanced machinery, with more cutting-edge equipment to be imported, to manufacture different types and shapes of plastic containers and pails. This expansion aims to meet the growing demands of multinational companies operating in Bangladesh.
